Minor detail: I believe that used to be "post scriptum". It was
inherited by modern Latin languages as "post script" (and I'm pretty
sure the naming of Adobe's PostScript language has something to do with
it too :-)). AFAIK, "scriptorum" was the genitive form of "scriptum",
and it roughly meant "of the written words".
