Auto Responder2000-01-21 08:18:04
Hi Everybody
I have set up an Auto Responder with procmail on a Linux box. The task at hand was to set up an Auto Responder that would automatically reply to a user that sent mail to an e-mail address with the subject of "Test" and insert a message in the body. As above, I got it to work in Linux but not operational on a Sun 250 Solaris box. The following configs on the Linux Box : .forward
.procmailrc :0 hc
I have copied this same config to the Sun Server and it appears not to be working. Is it possible to use this config and trash mail which don't have "test" in the subject. The auto responder should only go to users that send mail to this address and have "Test" in the subject. I have tried the following which does not work : :0
I think the about is trashing all the mail as when I use this, I do not receive and error message back. A jist of the whole lot, is that I want to auto respond to e-mail that have test in the subject and send a message to the user. I would like to trash all other mail. E-Mails that have the subject of test should only be replied to and not delivered to a particular mailbox...I am running PostFix and procmail 3.14 on Sun Solaris some version. Don't really know. Regards
