I have the following problem for which I cannot get a solution (yet).
I am subscribed to a mailing list which is used for image exchange. All
messages from the list have an attached picture in gif or jpeg format.
Subject of the message contains the description of the image, for example,
Cars or Nature. What I would like to do is to filter out the messages
from the list (this is done), get the subject of the message (this is also
done), and then save the attached picture in the appropriate directory
(cars to cars, bones to bones ;))... Afterwards, the message should be
deleted. The friend of mine gave me a hint that I should use metamail in
combination with procmail, but I have a hard time figuring out the
solution. Any suggestions?
