My apologies to David Wells and others for sending garbage via my

You still are at least somewhat, referring to "gm+AEA-aohell.com"
in the text. I'm presuming this was to match the
"gm(_at_)zeppo(_dot_)ecqual(_dot_)net"
in your recipe. (At least I can read the recipe now).

For gm, I would like to send a special message and dump his email to
Unix's trash can. I have the following recipe, but it autoresponds to
EVERYONE with only the top section meant for gm+AEA-aohell.com (i.e.,
the second section doesn't fire off my normal autoresponse.)
What have I done wrong? TIA

Well, first I think you meant "^FROM" rather than "!^FROM";
however, since in fact there is no ^FROM macro, neither form will
work as you intended. (Removing the first "!" will then match
nobody instead of everybody; headers that I've encountered
never seem to start with "fromgm" :-).
Use the specific header(s) you want, almost certainly
either "^From " and/or "^From:".
Cheers,
Stan
