Ugh. I guess egroups changed again. Here's an update for my recipe
which seems to be working now.
:0 fbw
* Delivered-To:(_dot_)*(_at_)egroups(_dot_)com
| sed '/^-\{25,\} eGroups Sponsor -\{23,\}~-~>$/,/^-\{67,\}_->$/d'
This works for me
# strip out ads from egroups mailing lists
:0 fbw
* Delivered-To:(_dot_)*(_at_)egroups(_dot_)com
| sed '/^\(> \)*-\{68\}<e|-$/,/^\(> \)*-\{68\}|e>-$/d'
Or at least it did. Egroups changes their footers a lot.

Hello people,
I am breaking my head with the reciept I need. I am subscribed to a lot
of mailing lists on http://www.egroups.com . Every message in any of
those lists contains an advertising, which looks like this:
------------------------ eGroups Sponsor -----------------------~-_>
bla blah blah
----------------------------------------------------------------~-_>
As you have guessed, I don't want to see it, in any of my messages ;-)
How can I do it in the best way?
TIA.
