Oops, I nabbed a few lines from my script archives and edited out the gzip
bit (normally, I archive using gzip, but with flags: |gzip -9fc >>
$MAILDIR/mike.gz). For the purposes of the script given, just omit the
'.gz' extension, or change it to a meaningful '.mbox'.
I suspect gzipping the messages might add a level of unwanted complexity.
