are you using:
sendmail?
then write the following line into your ~/.forward file:
"|/usr/bin/procmail"
qmail?
then write the following line into your ~/.qmail file:
"|/var/qmail/bin/preline /usr/bin/procmail"

The first time I installed procmail it ran automatically when I downloaded
email. After replacing my hard disk and reinstalling procmail I find that
it doesn't run. I used the configuration file and recipes that I had backed
up from the first installation but I'm too much of a newbie to troubleshoot
much farther. If it would help I could post the .procmail.log file.
Would an entry in the fetchmailrc file pointing at procmail work?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
