Procmail example "vacation" works only on "root" user. I'm sure procmail has
been "invoked", because I changed it a bit to grep sender to file, and I see
that the sender's name is written in file, but I don't know why is that "reply
mail" being held in dead.letter? No matter what I try, it's stuck in there,
and it wouldn't move. Any hints?
Do you set LOGFILE in the rcfile? If so, what does the logfile
contain? What does it contain when you add VERBOSE=on after the
LOGFILE assignment? Is sendmail setuid root? Have you checked
sendmail's log (as written by syslog, probably somewhere in /var/log)?
Did you consider including the rcfile in your message to the list?
