That depends on what your LDA supports, and you can configure your MTA
accordingly.
With LMTP you can specify as many recepients as you want and receive an
independent reply code for each of them.
to make myself clear on this, there's also an option to pass recepients in
**argv w/o LMTP, but then only one reply code could be received for all of
them, which doen't work very well.
