| formail -D 8192 $PROCDIR/idfile
That will effectively delete duplicate messages based on Message-IDs.
Actually there was some mail program awhile back that did not send
unique Message-IDs... someone had modified the above to store
duplicates in a mailbox instead of trashing them, and that was valuable.
