Tim,
thanks for the prompt reply. I ended up exposing an incorrect error.
When I apply my procmail rule, the body of the message is written to hte
user's mailbox, while the header of the message is resent to
rcd(_at_)amherst(_dot_)com
proclog:
procmail: [2682] Fri Mar 30 13:17:53 2001
procmail: Assigning "MATCH="
procmail: Matched " testing #7"
procmail: Match on "^Subject:\/.*"
procmail: Executing " (formail -I"To: rcd(_at_)(_dot_)amherst(_dot_)com"
-I"Subject: [$HOST] $MATCH") | $SENDMAIL -t"
procmail: Locking "/var/spool/mail/root.lock"
procmail: Assigning "LASTFOLDER=/var/spool/mail/root"
procmail: Opening "/var/spool/mail/root"

procmail: Unlocking "/var/spool/mail/root.lock"
Folder: /var/spool/mail/root 55
procmail: Notified comsat: "root(_at_)0:/var/spool/mail/root"
Any idea what going on here?
Thanks
-Rob
Sorry, the Subject line is fine..... The body of the message is omitted.
In fact, it is written to the original recipient's mailbox.
You still don't want to change the subject using -A
The body of the message is lost because you have 'fh' (filter header)
The recipe I just sent (where this is in 2 steps and 'and-ed') will avoid that
problem
(I knew something else looked fishy there)
