Okay, I figured out my problem. I needed to add a 'b' in the beginning fo
the rule to pass the body through.
:0fhbw
But now I have a new problem. For some odd reason, the rule is passing a
single character in the recipients mailbox. I can't figure out why!!!!
here is my rule:
LOGFILE=$HOME/LOGGER
VERBOSE=on
:0fhb
* ^Subject:\/.*
| (formail -I"To: rcd(_at_)quark(_dot_)amherst(_dot_)com" -I"Subject: [$HOST]
$MATCH") | $SENDMAIL -t
Here is the verbose procmail log:
procmail: [2783] Fri Mar 30 13:35:31 2001
procmail: Assigning "MATCH="
procmail: Matched " testing 11"
procmail: Match on "^Subject:\/.*"
procmail: Executing " (formail -I"To: rcd(_at_)quark(_dot_)amherst(_dot_)com"
-I"Subject: [$HOST] $MATCH") | $SENDMAIL -t"
procmail: Locking "/var/spool/mail/root.lock"
procmail: Assigning "LASTFOLDER=/var/spool/mail/root"
procmail: Opening "/var/spool/mail/root"
procmail: Acquiring kernel-lock
procmail: Unlocking "/var/spool/mail/root.lock"
Folder: /var/spool/mail/root 1
procmail: Notified comsat: "root(_at_)0:/var/spool/mail/root"
Here is /var/spool/mail/root:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1 Mar 30 13:30 /var/spool/mail/root
Does anybody know what's happening here??
Thanks
-Rob
