i would like to subscribe to the mailing list

also subscribe my other address:

kayve(_at_)itsa(_dot_)ucsf(_dot_)edu

the mails are saving to kayve.txt, but the forwards
are getting bounced.. actually, while i had the
stuff going all mail was daemon bounced away so
now i have restored the plain old .forward file..
the .procmailrc is below

In a message dated Wed, 28 Mar 2001 9:11:42 PM Eastern Standard Time, Joe
DeBattista <joed(_at_)itsa(_dot_)ucsf(_dot_)edu> writes:

umm.. oh oh.. r u saying that it doesn't work? does that mean i am losing my
emails as we speak?  D:{

right now i seem to be. i used to have .forward set
to this address (we r speaking of the UNIX account:

kayve(_at_)itsa(_dot_)ucsf(_dot_)edu

now i have implemented a small tester that i thought
should save the body of emails to a file called
kayve.txt that worked.. but then i realized i had disabled .forward.. so i
implemented the command

!kayveydog(_at_)aol(_dot_)com

(separated from the syntax.. what i mean is that
i think i implemented the syntax correctly.. umm..
{:} heh.. or not?)
in the .procmailrc as was instructed on the website..
now i am not sure if i am losing my mail or not..

hmm.. let me check the kayve.txt file

oh.. lordy.. yer message is in there.. i am not sure i understand that.

here is the whatchacallit:

:0bc:
*^(From|Cc|to).*kayve
  {
    kayve.txt
    !kayveydog(_at_)aol(_dot_)com kayve kayve(_at_)itsa(_dot_)ucsf(_dot_)edu
  }
It's version 3.11, a very old version. It's something >that was brought up
for testing in 1997, and never implemented.
