Now that I set up fetchmail and procmail to run smoothly together, I feel
so stupid having used PINE and Netscape filters for several years. Procmail
is so much greater a scope ! Now all I'll have to do is set up procmail to
Fcc my outbound mail and I'm as happy with my mail as can be. Well, perhaps
find a good reader that supports threading and reads mbox files.
*Ahem* mutt *ahem*... It does Fcc'ing by default and hs the best
message threading available, reads mbox files, and is 100%
customizable to boot.
Mutt is an awesome piece of software, it even doubles as a great news
reader if you apply a certain *vvv-nntp* patch: http://mutt.org.ua/download/
After 5 years of continuous use I still haven't used all its features,
they keep adding some more (like Frito-Lay: you can eat plenty 'cause
we'll make some more) like procmail for that matter.
Back to your scheduled programming...
