which came first, the lockfile release or the trap?

2001-04-28 00:25:50
Let's say that, as procmail is ready to exit, a global lockfile is in effect,
TRAP is assigned to a string of one or more commands, and LOGABSTRACT is set
to "on" or "true" or "yes" or even "all."

I know from experience that the TRAP's output appears lower in the log than
the logabstract; ergo the logabstract is logged before the TRAP is executed.
So where in there is a global lockfile removed? Is it

  removal of the global lockfile
  logging of the logabstract
  execution of the trap

or
  logging of the logabstract
  removal of the global lockfile
  execution of the trap
or

  logging of the logabstract
  execution of the trap
  removal of the global lockfile

Thanks.
