I presume this is $HOME/.procmailrc
Should it have any special access rights that I am unaware of? It is now set
chmod 644.
shouldn't be a problem
Here are some important variables I set in .procmailrc:

PATH=/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/root/bin:
/usr/bin/stump/bin:/usr/bin/stump/etc
MAILDIR=/var/spool/stump
I'm not sure about this one, you could try setting it to the users mailbox in
his/her home directory. might work.
VERBOSE=yes
DEFAULT=$MAILDIR/mbox
ORGMAIL=/var/mail/srdl
LOGFILE=$MAILDIR/log
LOCKFILE=/.lockmail
LOGABSTRACT=all
SENDMAIL=/usr/sbin/sendmail

But, like I said, mail simply gets delivered to root, and nothing is being
logged either. And I have no 'fall-through' value for root set either. Any
suggestions?
I think it's probably because procmail can't write to /var/mail/srdl...try
setting the logfile to somewhere else, but keeping $MAILDIR the same, see if
anything is logged then.
