Hallo Stan,
procmail: Couldn't determine implicit lockfile from "/usr/sbin/sendmail"
procmail: Error while writing to "/usr/sbin/sendmail"
Just delete the second colon
:0
Thanx a lot, that was the error.
May 28 13:25:55 localhost sendmail[1186]: f4SBPtu01186: SYSERR(am): Can't
create transcript file ./xff4SBPtu01186: Permission denied
This error was caused by bad permissions for sendmail which were set by a
faulty rpm package. Now nearly all works. I still have a problem though,
maybe U have an idea.
I use kmail and when sending mail using port 25 or /usr/sbin/sendmail all
works as it should. I use header rewriting on my mashine, e.g. From:
am(_at_)localhost > a_m_28(_at_)gmx(_dot_)net
BUT this does not work anymore when procmail processes the mails. I want
procmail to forward some mails to an other user on the internet. But I cannot
forward the mails anymore, because they don't have a valid internetaddress
and are rejected for delivery by my provider's smtp server. U have an idea
here? It's strange, because it works with all mailclients, only procmail
seems to do it in an other way.
Greetings and thank U
Andreas
