Environment : Solaris 8, Sendmail 8.11.3 and Procmail
3.15
Setup : Procmail as local delivery agent in sendmail.
all the user dirs are on an NFS server.
/etc/procmailrc has :
---------------------
DEFAULT=$HOME/mail/Inbox
In the config.h the MAILSPOOL dir is "/var/mail".
each user has a quota of 5MB. When the users quota
limit is reached, procmail starts putting the mail in
"/var/mail/<user>" dir .
Desirable solution : When the user's quota limit is
reached, procmail should just bounce back the mail to
sender, which is what the older version (procmail 3.7)
did.
What needs to be done to reject the mail,instead of
putting it in /var/mail dir, once the user's quota
limit is reached.
