okay.. the problem with my procmail methinks is that it is
not properly installed because i am the only one on itsa
trying to use it..
i don't want to bother kissing the admins *#&@*&#@ about it so
i am taking a friends advice and installing on $HOME.
i have a webiste:
http://itsa.ucsf.edu/~kayve
where smack dab in the middle i have a big fat little doo dad
that says procmailrc and has 6 links..
the link INSTALL (not the link install) i am following..
i already used ws_ftp to shoot procmail-3.21.tar.gz over
to my $HOME at itsa.. so i just started from the command
%gunzip procmail-3.21.tar.gz
and then i got the *.tar file and did that step...
now i got to the emacs step.. and freeked out when it shot
me into this strange screen.. so i said, 'waitaminnit..
this is just a text editor' and did
%vi procmail/Makefile
insteadski..
izzat okay?
okay.. my current deally is i have no idea what to put in the
ARCHITECTURE =
doo dad..
is there a command on my multiple shells with which i can understand
my architecture.. umm.. i ferget.. i have like 15 shells to choose from.
i am attaching the Makefile
