Thanks, Matt. I did see references to metamail in the archives, but I
understood this was a separate product rather than a procmail command or
keyword. Do I need metamail as well, or can I do this with metamail and
skip procmail? Or have I installed metamail when I installed procmail?
Metamail appears to be a commercial product. Is there an open source
variant or is it this commercial product that I need?
Metamail isn't bundled w/ procmail. It will have to install it in
addition. Nor is it a commercial product, I think. It might be open
source, but I'm not sure. It's installed by default on my linux distro
(Mandrake).
It sounds like you want a pure procmail solution to extracting
attachments. I think there's something like that out there somewhere.
Perhaps check out jari's docs (http://www.procmail.org/jari/).
