Almost, but not quite. You need to qualify the part in parentheses with
a trailing "?" to make it optional. As you have it, the parens have no
affect and it will only match the later of the two lists. Try:
* ^List-Id:.*docbook(-apps)?-digest\.lists\.oasis-open\.org
