At 12:01 AM -0400 9/11/01, CueMan is rumored to have typed:
Does ^TO_ & ^TO contain all the email addresses that might appear
in To:, Cc;, Bcc:, etc.? Or is it able to automagically divine
the ultimate recipient address regardless of were in the headers
it might be not depending on MTA?
From the man pages (always a good thing to read):
-----
If the regular expression contains `^TO' it will be substituted by
`(^((Original-)?(Resent-)?(To|Cc|Bcc)|(X-Envelope|
Apparently(-Resent)?)-To):(.*[^a-zA-Z])?)'
which should catch all destination specifications.
-----
So if your "real" email address is an an X-Really-Real-Address: header
field, it obviously won't "see" it.
Charlie (who reminds everyone the FROM_DAEMON and FROM_MAILER
defs are in the man pages, too)
