Hi, dear procmail-users,
does anybody know how to configure procmail in this way, that E-Mail
fetched by fetchmail, from a provider under a
single E-Mail-Address can be distributed to several users on a local
network having an imap-Server (Cyrus).
As long as you have procmail set up between your MTA (I use sendmail)
and deliver, it's just a matter of creating the proper recipe. Seems
you could easily set up a kind of mailing list for this.
e.g. <duffy duck> remote(_at_)remotehost(_dot_)de should be transfered to
user.duffy
<trick duck> remote(_at_)remotehost(_dot_)de
user.trick
<dagobert duck> remote(_at_)remotehost(_dot_)de
user.dagobert
Has anybody an idea how one can ascertain, that a distinguishing filter
criteria for a distinct user always is fullfilled?
Set VERBOSE=yes and look at the logfile?
For ideas how to get the first part working - if you haven't already
got it, look in the archives for the cyrus-imapd mailing list (I don't
have the address offhand). Most of my posts here over the last month
have dealt with just that.
