Hi,
I've got my processing order mixed up.
I'm using procmail to push emails through a scan for viruses and add a
header to the clean ones. This happens in /etc/procmailrc.
I'm also experimenting with Amavis, and have it working at the same time,
using the local mailer (sendmail 11.6)
On locally delivered mails I get the headers added as I would expect:
X-Virus-Scanned: by AMaViS snapshot-20020316
X-Virus-Checked: No viruses found.
But no headers are added on redirected mails, either from the alias file or
from the users .procmail file.
I thought that if the mail got as far as being processed by the user's
.procmail it would have gone throught the checks. I was obviously wrong!
Can I arrange to have the mail checked, and then forwarded?
