Re: procmail not matching

2002-06-08 11:31:23
I have corrected a few things. But I noticed it wasn't working, on the
yahoo, but for the linkline account.

Here is the To line from the Actual E-mail.
To: giffordj(_at_)linkline(_dot_)com, gifford_jim(_at_)yahoo(_dot_)com

Hi Jim,
It would be useful to cut and send the actual "To:" lines from the
mesdsages as youhave no wildcards in your procmail. Inserting something
like

LOGFILE=/home/jg555/procmail.log
VERBOSE=yes
LOGABSTRACT=all

at the top of your .procmailrc will allow you to view the log. I've
fought many battles with procmailand eventually won most after a lengthy
skirmish.

email me as attachments your .procmailrc and sample message, if you are
still stuck after trying the above.

I have been trying to set up procmail to sort my email that I receive

fetchmail.

Here is what I am trying to do.

Check the To for user(_at_)yahoo(_dot_)com and put it in the Maildir/.Yahoo
Check the To for user(_at_)pacbell(_dot_)net and put it in the
Maildir/.pacbell.net

Here is what I have in my .procmailrc

:0:
* ^XTo: user(_at_)yahoo(_dot_)com
$MAILDIR/.Yahoo

:0:
* ^XTo: user(_at_)pacbell(_dot_)net
$MAILDIR/.pacbell.net

The above works if that is the only email address in the To line, but
when
there are multiple entries, it does not work. How can I fix this?

Thank you in advance for your help
