Hi,
Okay, first of all: There are new features (especially the addition of
-o) which need testing. So, please test these features.
Here is the ChangeLog:
- I've done some more benchmarking. My mailstat has somewhat decreased in
performance due to the features I've added.
But it's still very much faster than the original mailstat.
- The ChangeLog is now stored in a separate file
- Added three more command line switches which control the output:
-f sorts the output by folder name (like the original mailstat)
-z sorts by the size of the messages
-n (or none of these 3) sorts by number of messages
- Some more flexibility recognizing the From: line
- New functionality:
The command line switch -o makes mailstat behave as follows:
LOGFILE is analyzed and its content is moved to LOGFILE.old. Then
LOGFILE is emptied. If LOGFILE does already end with .old the file is
just analyzed like if the -o option wasn't there.
- The command line switches -m, -k and -b let you specify if the sizes
should be shown in MBytes, KBytes (default) or Bytes.
Gimme Feedback, please.
