CRLF in lines

Hi,

It seems to me that procmail strips out CRLF ("\r\n") and replaces them
with just "\n", is that true?

Although I haven't verified it, I was told that the POP and IMAP RFC's
expect lines to be ending with "\r\n".

Can anyone confirm that? If it is so, can procmail be set not to strip
out the "\r"?
