A few months ago, someone (Andrew?) posted a recipe using date to validate
Date: formats as a spammy indicator. One might check the archives and
evaluate what that recipe developed into.
I agree that if you're going to sort mail by date, may as well use the
From_ line because it should be consistent. I'm not simply referring to
spam either -- some users have been known to have PC clocks off by months,
or even a full year.
