and whitelists, then have in my spamtest arsenal a test for
the perp's having used my upstream provider in the Message-ID.

Thank you. That was exactly what I was thinking about. From the email
that I had examined, it seemed that it would be a nice test. But
considering my limited experience with email headers, I wanted to
make sure.
