I referred a friend to this list, he seems to be unable to post to the
list, any message that he sends gets sent back with a notice that is in
the admin approval queue
He asked me to post on his behalf, and since I am a procmail newbie, I
prefer someone with better experience than I am, could respond to the
list and I can forward it to him or if you feel that you want to respond
directly to him his email address is
james_burlington(_at_)yahoo(_dot_)com
------------------Forwarded message ------------------------------
It seems that my original message is being considered as spam by the
mailing list software, I'll try again.
Newbie Alert:
Hello,
I have read the man pages and to some extent the procmail documentation
project, I tried but please do not jump on my back if I still fail to
understand some points, and would appreciate any help on them.
1. When filtering against body, I have an annoying jerk that spamming
in the body and everything else is changing.
I wrote a small recipe that does this.
:0B:
* (somedomain\.com)
$ignore
Was working for 2 days and then all of sudden I see that some messages
got through, viewing message source shows this.
2" height=3D"210">I realize that this is caused by wrapping, and looked
into the man pages
again trying to locate something about handling this, but failed, I may
be missing it, any suggestions how to handle this?
2. How do you correctly read the IP address from the Received header
into a variable (Extract it into a variable)?
Please help.
Thanks in advance.
