Hi Mahmood,
I had a similar problem. Here, the users refuse to accept quotas and
occasionally the partition where their files sit fills completely up. Any
procmail recipes that try to write to this partition then fail.
I don't see this as a procmail problem. Rather it is a system admin issue.
Where quotas are in force the user has a responsibility to monitor their own
disk usage.
You could also write a script that will check and warn you when a users disk
usage passes, say, 90% so that they can be advised to clean up their disk
space or request an increased quota.
Just a few ideas!
Tony.

Subject: Quota:
I am using Procmail v3.22 as LDA, Sendmail 8.11.6 as MTA on Redhat
Linux 7.3 where Quota is applied on the /var/mail/ partion. When the
quota of user is reached to max limit system did not pass error to
the end user and I got the bellow error in my /var/log/maillog file.
tail /var/log/maillog:
----------------------
Aug 5 11:47:15 deus sendmail[18106]: h755lDq18102: to=mahmood,
ctladdr=<mahmoodi(_at_)webnet(_dot_)com(_dot_)pk> (572/572), delay=00:00:02,
xdelay=00:00:01, mailer=local, pri=1655175, dsn=4.0.0,
stat=Deferred: local mailer (/usr/bin/procmail)
exited with EX_TEMPFAIL
Please advice how can I fix this error. Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Mahmood
