Invalid Regex

procmail: Invalid regexp "^(Sender:.* List"? 
<(mailto:)?\/[-A-Za-z0-9_+]+"
I know I must be missing something pretty basic, but why is the regex 
invalid?
* 9876543210^0 ^(Sender:.* List"? <(mailto:)?\/[-A-Za-z0-9_+]+
