I think you ought to reconsider this. If I did it, I would loose all
email messages from my daughters, my mother, and about 1/2 of my non-IT
industry friends.
I don't have any problems with this at all. I don't usually get HTML
mail and when I do I just delete it. Much quicker for it to drop into
/dev/null and save me a lot of time. Lot of people do things that
way. The HTML mail that I receive comes from spammers.
I remember a Procmail list where plain text was the way it was/is and
all others were warned or removed.
