I need to add the subject line to the following recipe using what is in the
file called .subject.
formail -I "Subject: `cat .subject`"
Note the use of reverse tickmarks. This is a function of standard _SHELL_
expansion, not something special with procmail.
I am doing it this way so that different users can add there own subject
line and msg without messing with the recipe.
You could have an includerc, in which they define simple variables -- but
could enter other stuff which certainly could hose syntax - then again, so
can hard newlines in the text file you're using for the replacement
subject, to wit:
[.subject]
I'm a naughty boy
