I'm going to take a guess and say that, in all your recipes, your action lines
should read:
messages-rejected
or
$MAILDIR/messages-rejected
and not
messages-rejected/
That last way would cause procmail to try and open an unspecified folder
within messages-rejected/, wouldn't it? Thus causing your lock failure...
man procmail
see "Lock failure on 'X'" under the DIAGNOSTICS section, which mentions
nonexistent subdirectories and a whole lot more...
