If it's a problem with anything other than procmail, yes, you're posting to
the wrong list.
Because you're having a problem with SENDING mail, it's a good bet it has
absolutely nothing to do with procmail. Try the documentation for your MTA
or MUA.
Well I have a strange problem regarding header of email. When I send a
mail to more than one user, I do not get the tag "for user" in some
cases. (as in the header sample i am including below, 'underlined one')
Received headers are added by the MTA when it receives a message for
processing, either locally or via (E)SMTP. These are not generated by the
MUA (or procmail for that matter, which has nothing to do with sending
mail, excepting that it can invoke your MTA as a program for forwarding and
the like, and even then, the message content is either something that
procmail received and is simply passing back out to the MTA, or which was
generated or altered by some program EXTERNAL to procmail before procmail
invoked the MTA as a program).
I cannot figure out why such happened . Will anyone please explain me
this. I desperately need the for tag to be always included as in the
first case.
You're going to remain in a state of desparation. It's common practice for
MTAs to NOT include this tag when there are multiple recipients of a message.

FTR, the receiving mailhost identified by the above header

Heh, Nepal is still bucking convention and using a non-integral timezone.
Worth noting is that this host appears to be a windows box, and appears to
be running what I'm going to guess is "Norton AntiVirus GateWay"
(NAVGW). As a result, that mail server _may_ be transmitting the messages
singularly or separately. You'll need to examine the logs on the receiving
host (chulu) to see how many recipients were identified on the message. If
this host broke it down to two separate messages for some reason, then the
receiving host would have included the recipient in the Received: header.
Windows MTAs are notorious for making up their own interpretations of
established standards to suit their needs, so it would come as no surprise
that this mailhost is manipulating the message transmission in some
seemingly arbitrary fashion.
If you need further assist, you'll need to head to the appropriate forum
for your MTA software.
