regexp match for unknown reason

2004-06-27 11:33:12
Hi,

 I am not a newbie, but I can not find out why my regexp matches to
mails with no obvious reason. My regexp:
:0
* ^Subject: (Current)+|(Latest)+|(New)+|(Newest)+
(Net)+|(Network)+|(Internet)+|(Critical)+
$HOME/Maildir/virus/

(The + added later if it solves the mistery, but it does not).
When I turn on debugging, I see the following in my log:
[ ... other regexpes ... ]
procmail: No match on "^Subject:
.*([V|v].?[A|a].?[L|l].?[I|i].?[U|u].?[M|m])|([X|x].?[A|a].?[N|n].?[A|a].?[X|x])|([V|v].?[I|i].?[A|a].?[G|g].?[R|r].?[A|a])|([V|v].?[I|i].?[C|c].?[O|o].?[D|d].?[I|i].?[N|n]).*"
procmail: Match on "^Subject: (Current)+|(Latest)+|(New)+|(Newest)+
(Net)+|(Network)+|(Internet)+|(Critical)+"
procmail: Assigning
"LASTFOLDER=/var/home/gcs/Maildir/virus/new/1088356228.19356_0.pooh"
procmail: Notified comsat:
"gcs(_at_)0:/var/home/gcs/Maildir/virus/new/1088356228.19356_0.pooh"

I have only one 'Subject' line which noted above, so can someone help me
out why procmail matches on the subject when it's totally different?
This is not the one mail which goes wrong, I have many messages match on
this particular regexp, and I really don't know why. Pointing to RTFM
(fine manual) is also OK.
I am using Debian Woody (stable), procmail is 3.22-5.

Thanks in advance,
Laszlo/GCS
