Slow? I think not.
On over 20,000 spams the median time to score mail is 1.3 seconds on
my server. The average (pushed higher because I process larger than
normal email via SA) is 1.92 seconds. Standard Dev is 11 seconds.
That's a pretty insignificant latency, especially considering it's
eliminated just about all of my spam (well more than 99%).
In fact, it is so rare that I see a spam anymore that I really look at
it closely, examining the headers and trying to see why it got by SA.
then I dump it inthe "Learn spam" mailbox and SA learns it as spam.
End of problem.
