Hello Ruud,

It's often a waste of resources to call date even once for that purpose.

Curently I have

  ____ ( '/home/michelle/.procmailrc' ) ________________________________
 /
| LOGFILE=$HOME/log/procmail/`date +%Y-%m-%d`.log
| MONTHFOLDER=`date +%Y-%m`
| YEARFOLDER=`date +%Y`
 \______________________________________________________________________

See http://www.xs4all.nl/~rvtol/procmail/basic/pm
and specifically H_vars.inc and H_From_parse.inc

I get headache... :-/

I try to use "H_From_parse.inc"

for a way to get reliable date and time values
from the message itself.

Greetings
Michelle
