Procmail is working fine, but when I look at the logs, I get a
bizarre lock error.
With regular logging, it looks like:
0 1 ## procmail: Kernel-lock failed
0 1 ## procmail: Kernel-unlock failed
39442 1 //guest/m/msaroff/incoming/CLG
With verbose logging, I get the equally uninformative:
procmail: Acquiring kernel-lock
procmail: Kernel-lock failed
procmail: Kernel-unlock failed
procmail: Unlocking "/guest/m/msaroff/incoming/CLG.lock"
procmail: Notified comsat: "msaroff(_at_)100802:/guest/m/msaroff/incoming/CLG"
My recipes work fine, and it doesn't seem to do the lock with
default email file (/var/mail/######), just the folders that I sort to.

SHERIFF
If he comes back, try to detain him.
MECHANIC
Detain him? And then what?
SHERIFF
And then, I don't know, call me and I'll come and arrest him I guess.
MECHANIC
And in the meantime this French sociopath stabs me and Mike to death.
SHERIFF
Do you want my job?
MECHANIC
No, we don't want your job, we just want a little protection.
SHERIFF
Protection?
MECHANIC
Yeah
SHERIFF
Protection, certainty, assurance, security.
MECHANIC
Yeah? That too I guess.
SHERIFF
You want confidence, a pledge, safety. Guarantee, promises, expectation,
consideration, sincerity, selflessness, intimacy, attraction, gentleness,
understanding and understanding without words, dependence without
resentment. Affection. To belong. Possession. Loss.
MECHANIC
Hey Sheriff, is everything all right at home?
SHERIFF
Why do women exist?
