Andrew Edelstein:
Matee Moshkovits:
I can not do that. [...] $site = a map to a differnt server
and sendmail/pop3/imap will not read it otherwise
Have you considered making /home/$site/$mailbox a symlink
to /var/spool/mail/$mailbox?
(Was that the real order of communication?)
First line of ~rvtol/.bashrc at my ISP:
ln -fhs $MAIL/Mail ~/Mail
This because my $HOME has 200 MB (incl. webspace)
and my $MAIL has 500 MB. :)
$ echo $MAIL
/var/spool/mail/m/u/n/g/e/d/rvtol
Might you wonder: the webserver doesn't mount $MAIL.
