downloaded aimd from http://webs1152.im1.net/~dsweet/aimd/
$ ./aimd.pl MyAIMID MyAIMPassWord
gives me
main::readMessage() called too early to check prototype at ./
aimd.pl line 65.
and then, after some time:
PARSE: how many args in '2'?
which repeats every 30 seconds or so
Running this script like this will reveal the AIM password to anyone
running 'ps' which will have to be dealt with. I'd much rather just
put it and the AimID in the script and do 'chmod 700' to the script.
This will only be invoked on very rare occasions, so I'm really not
worried about "flooding" AIM with connections. I just wish I knew
enough (read: "any") perl to be able to read what the script is
trying to tell me.
