That's what I thought I said.
What *I* read is that you suggested to put the date in an extra file and
include that every time the recipe is run.
What I suggested as an alternative is rewriting the recipe on a daily
basis by concatenating 2 template files and the date file: Header_template
+ datefile + footer_template = recipe.
A small difference, but when we're on the efficiency bandwagon, it's just
another step to increase effeciency... ;-)
I have not yet tested the difference it would make, but as my mailserver
is a bit faster than Brad's, I think it will not make that much of a
difference, especially as I typically do not get 10.000 mails a day! :-)
