I hadn't even considered grouped concatenated echo commands piped directly
to sendmail.
And, this-a-way is MUCH better in that your original echo technique
was _not_ safe in a multi-tasking environment. I.e., the arrival of
several emails could launch several procmails and they could take
turns (over)writting your "tmp" file.
