Hai All,

i am new in this group...
i need some help....

i have one mail server.. configured with sendmail + procmail..
everything is working fine...

now i wish to setup a backup of al mail.. (also a monitering..of all
mailtransfer)

Monitoring.. add the following in the file /etc/syslog.conf

mail.* /the/backup/place

Note that the blankss are TABs! Don't use SPACEs!
If you want to save it on other machine:

mail.* @the.backup.machine

so i wish to get a copy of all mails that transfer through my mail server to
a users inbox..

You can't use procmail to backup outgoing mail. To backup all
incoming mail put in top of the procmailrc:

:0 c:
/the/backup/folder/place

To copy folders from commandline see my example in:
        http://www.eng.tau.ac.il/~uuddii/pm

Bye,
 Udi

i think its possible with procmail..

if any IDEA.. please help me..

Thank you in Advance
