Don't think that the procmail recipe does it, look further.


Maybe you should put something like this in the top of your
/etc/procmailrc:

  :0 Bc
  * ^\..*^^
  !hasdot


A single dot (without trailing whitespace) on the last line, is part of
the transport format of SMTP. That last line should not leak through. So
maybe there were two such lines, or did a linefeed get lost.
