Hi,
I have today a setup where procmail directs mail to clamav and
thereafter spamassassin an later gets delivered to each Maildir and
folder depending what headers are added. You understand what I mean by
reading my settings :
PATH="/usr/bin:/usr/local/bin"
MAILDIR="$HOME/.Maildir"
DEFAULT="$HOME/.Maildir/"
SHELL="/bin/sh"
DROPPRIVS=yes
:0Wh:msgid.lock
| formail -D 8192 msgid.cache
:0fw
| /usr/local/bin/clamassassin
:0:
* ^X-Virus-Status: Yes
.Virus/
:0fw: spamassasin.lock
| /usr/bin/spamassassin
:0
* ^X-Spam-Status: Yes
.Spam/
What I wish to do is for this server to only be the Spam and virus
scanner and send to another server where only Dovecot is installed.
I have to say that I don't really understand in what order things are
executed. Does Sendmail MTA accept each mail and "gives" it to procmail
or does procmail accept the mail and send it to MTA after processing it.
Help appreciated
Best regards - Jon
