I am trying cut down on spam by using the recipe by
Nic Wolff found at:
http://angel.net/~nic/spam-x/procmailrc.txt
It seems straight forward enough but something's not
working right.
I send an e-mail from yahoo to mydomain.com. My yahoo
account does receive the auto respond asking to
verify, however my domain mailbox still gets the
message without the verification email being replied
to.
Below is what I see in .procmail_log:
For posting purposes, I replaced my actual domain with
"mydomain.com"
My mailbox in "mydomain.com" is "majik"
My external e-mail was replaced with
"external(_at_)yahoo(_dot_)com"
...this of course is to prevent spam.

Toward the end, it is trying to write to the path:
/home/virtual/site1/fst/home/majik/pending_messages/
but it reports an error. It tries a few more times
then (as you see in the last few lines) delivers to
the mailbox anyway.
Searching "man procmail" does mention this error. It
states
"Nonexistent subdirectory, no write permission, pipe
died or disk full."
This path does exist, it does have write permissions,
I don't see where in the recipe a pipe is not working,
and the disk is not full.
