Ray: (or anyone else :D)

Here is a question that has been bothering me.
I run sendmail 8.13.4 on a Fedora Core 9 linux box which uses procmail v3.22
as its local mail delivery agent. In order to control Spam, I installed a
mail filtering solution based on a pearl script which needs 0770 access to
the user's mail files at /var/mail. I chmod those file to 0770 but procmail
changes it back to chmod 0700 every time it delivers a message.
How can I prevent procmail from doing so? I need procmail to deliver the
messages to the user's mail file located @ /var/mail without changing their
assigned permissions.

Thanks in advance

Hello:

Are there people on this list?

Nope. Only us procmail-based robots.
