Well, logging might be useful, if the error was recurrent. As it is, 
since as far as I know the error has occurred exactly once in the last 6 
months (as much as I have an easy time of checking) I have no confidence 
that logging will be helpful anytime in the near future.


If you aren't logging, how will you know whether or not any given
changes actually resolve the issue?
